Doug Greene

Doug is 35 years old, has been married to Courtney since March of 2001, and has two wonderful daughters, Amelia and Ellie. He’s been serving Jesus as a minister to students for 12 years; he’s been on staff with Fellowship since July of 2003. Doug became a Christian in the summer of 1991 after his first year at Virginia Tech.
His ministry experience includes: FCA member at Virginia Tech, FCA camp counselor, FCA high school outreach Director at Virginia Tech, Summer’s Best Two Weeks Camp Counselor (Boswell, PA), Kanakuk Kamps K-7 Programs Director(8 years), K-Life Ministries Area Director (6 years; 4 in Ft. Worth, 2 in Nashville), FSM Pastor.
Doug was born in San Antonio, Texas, but spent most of his growing up years in Northern Virginia. He is a graduate of Annandale High School (The Atoms) and Virginia Tech (The Hokies) and is pursuing a seminary degree through The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (No mascot). Doug’s dad and mom live in King George, Virginia, his older brother and sister-in-law live in Richmond, Virginia. His father and mother-in-law live in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and his sister-in-law in Omaha, Nebraska. Courtney and Doug met at Kanakuk Kamps in Lampe, MO in the summer of 1999.
