“More and more, the desire grows in me simply to walk around, greet people, enter their homes, sit on their doorsteps, play ball, throw water, and be known as someone who wants to live with them. It is a privilege to have the time to practice this simple ministry of presence. Still, it is not as simple as it seems. My own desire to be useful, to do something significant, or to be part of some impressive project is so strong that soon my time is taken up by meetings, conferences, study groups, and workshops that prevent me from walking the streets. It is difficult not to have plans, not to organize people around an urgent cause, and not to feel that you are working directly for social progress. But I wonder more and more if the first thing shouldn’t be to know people by name, to eat and drink with them, to listen to their stories and tell your own, and to let them know with words, handshakes, and hugs that you do not simply like them but you truly love them.”

Anna Aaron is the middle school women's ministry director. If there's anything going on with the females, be they leaders or students, for a large event or small coffee, she's on top of it. She's the newest member of our team.

Doug Greene oversees the curriculum and teaching that goes on for FSM. Although he does a ton of the teaching himself and is very gifted in that area, he also gives direction to others who are teaching. Click on the picture for more information.

Greg Joiner is the FSM Middle School Pastor. He loves to play frisbee golf and collect rocks, many which he keeps in the top drawer of his desk.

Paige Stroup is the high school women's ministry director. She hangs out with the high school leaders, students, and anyone else that needs a friend. She helps make the Foundry happen on Wednesday nights, and does a lot of the admin stuff for the team. If you're a high school girl and looking to get connected--get in touch with her!

Chris Wheeler is the program director for FSM. Whenever the students gather together for an event, be assured that Chris has planned out every minute of what is going to happen. Click on the picture for more information.

Lance Wooldridge leads the FSM worship teams, usually leading the worship himself. Either by playing guitar or organizing the band that does, any event that has live music goes through him.
